Please, is there somebody who can give me some details about the daily activities of a person doing Buddhism in a city like Montreal, Toronto or Boston or New York? How is it possible? * I saw Richard Gere Biography... he expalined a little his practice of Buddhism. He went often to Tibet, he came to Toronto to present the Dalai Lama last summer in Totonto... - What i remember from Richard Gere is when he told when you walk on the street look at people and wish them: "I WISH YOU HAPPINESS! I found it very nice and inspiring... I am Reiki Usui Master-Teacher since many years and for sure Reiki brings me more to Buddhism every day! Thank you in advance for answer, Dania

Really it all depends on the individual....I mean how I live my Buddhist life wont be the same as how Gere does or Dalai or Lama Suyra etc etc....I do try to visit the temple when I'm back home in Niagara Falls and I know there are Buddhist Temples in Toronto and Montreal which everyone has access to but other than that our personal practices vary from person to person so I dont know what to tell you....its different for everyone

Thank you very much for your answer. * I was thinking maybe there are some moments in the day for special meditations... - in my mind, i was comparing Buddhism with the practices of my friends who are muslims and the many specific rules they must follow during the day and all over the year special events to celebrate... Good day! Namaste!

Well again it varies from person to person....I personally meditate numerous times throughout the day and really we all do without even knowing it or intendign to if that makes sense.....a few times a day I do little mini meditations and usually in the morning and again in the evening i do slightly longer ones and then again still there are times when I'll do a full hour or so meditating.....but I dont think for many Buddhists its nearly as strict as it is for Muslims..they have to devote like 7 times a day isnt it? and its an actual ritual type thing too or am I mistaken on that?
