weed killers

i have loads of wild weed growing down the bottom of my garden, is there any menthods of killing them without buying commercial weed killer?

Well ,i don't like use any chemical stuff to get rid of the weeds.What i did is,i pull the them off.It's a lot of work but this is the only way to clean up my garden without using any chemical.

Once you pull the weeds out, I highly suggest laying down a protective weed mat and then covering it with a thin layer of mulch. It will stop the weeds from coming back with a vengence. The mulch helps reduce light further and acts as a buffer against baking your plants into submission from the black weed mat.
