losing the bad for something better, and letting go things to improve is loss of the old. Sometimes, you just gain, but even then you lose old perceptive to take on new. The loss varies though in how you lose it, if the loss was painful, helpful, or tossed out for better. Sometimes though when you gain, you don't lose you put something in place, but you lose space something else goes. However I noticed we talk of loss as losing a part of ourselves to gain, I don't think that's true, to blossom is to expand and remove the emptiness.A loss quite necessary, and possibly someone else's loss is your gain.
