Have you ever kept a fortune from a Fortune Cookie?

I have a fortune that I've hung onto for a while now. My boyfriend and I thought that it was so simple yet so meaningful.
"Love is a present that can be given every single day you live."
So what do you think of the one I kept? What's your favorite fortune?

hello there. :) yes, i have kept some fortune from a fortune cookine because just like you, i was eating that cookie with my boyfriend and then the fortune was also about "love". i dont know where i kept it now though but i know it has to be in my room somewhere. lolz. :)

Ohh, I like the fortune that you received. It is a very true statement! I have kept a few over the years too. Interestingly, our college had commencement and the nurse's pinning ceremony a few weekends ago. During our pinning ceremony, I was pinning a student. The student reached out and placed something in my hand as we parted. When I got back to my seat, I looked at it. It was a fortune slip from a fortune cookie. (I presume that they received when eating at our local Chinese restaurant). The fortune said, "You will be honored soon by someone whom you respect greatly." I almost cried.

That is so cool! How sweet. That was extrememly thoughtful of the student. People certainly can amaze us sometimes and its when you least expect it.

I used to keep my fortunes all the time... I used to make decos out of them (little art books).
