I do think Mel Gibson is a good director, as well as an excellent actor. "The Passion of the Christ" was excellent, although I have yet to see "Apocalypto". I heard it was very gory and I am hesitant to see a lot of gory movies.

I thought the passion of Christ was more gory than Apocalypto.
In the passion of Christ... I thought it was over done. You don't need to see someone beaten to a pulp during two third of the movie to get the message.

I think Mel Gibson is a very good director.
Althought... I would like him to back off a bit on his use of tomato sauce. He is trading a fine line between what is good and what is gory.
I like him even better as an actor... and it is sad that he seems to have retired from acting.
I like most of his movies...
But for pure entertainement... the four Lethal Weapons movies remains my favourites.

He is my number one actor. I like "THE PATRIOT"...huhuhu...Sometimes we played heroes to our kids, no matter how hard and how painful it is. We'll always protect them....bravo!
