I do beleive that diet and exercise do help but like you said it takes a lot of hard work and determination on the part of the person trying to lose the weight . My best friend has been fighting with this for years and is steadily losing weight . It is not going as fast as she would like but she is proving to herself and to everyone else that with a lot of hard work you can accomplish anything you put your mind to . I have to say I am very proud of her for this and know that one day she will be the size she has always wanted to be .

Diet with exercise is a great way for obese to loose weight. In our office, several girls went on a diet. But I have observed that those you include exercise were the ones to have a great body shape than others.

Diet and exercise combined is the best way. I usually tell people that how they eat is 75% of the success ratio and how they exercise is 25% of the success ratio, though it can be a bit different for everyone. One reason that weight loss can be slow often is that people just aren't doing what their bodies need. Everyone has very unique needs, so what works for one person won't necessarily work for another, and what seems like it should work for you might just not be the right thing. It is a lot of work and time. Slow weight loss is healthy weight loss though, so it's not a bad thing for it to take time. Eating right and exercising can really become a habit too. yes diet and exercise can really help obese people...and i agree that it really need lots of efforts. It also depend to the person if he/she really want to loose weight because sometimes if people doesn't have enough discipline on what they are eating everything will be useless.

I walk as much as possible! It's the best exercise you can do! it's not only healthy for your body, but for your mind as well! That's a big wy that I lose my weight! Plus you can get out & meet new people that are also walking & mike some new friends,Walking is one of the best and safest forms of exercise. It's also one of the cheapest since all you need is a good pair of walking shoes. A trick that exercise trainers tell their clients is to wear your walking shoes every day so that if you have a few extra minutes on your lunch hour or during a coffee break, you can walk.
