programmers...why prefer using vb6 than vb.net?

im a vb6 user and thiers a puzzle in my mind should i upgrade to vb.net or remain vb6 user....whats the big deal about this vb.net?plssss some programmers thier help!!!

You don't have to think about it, It's better to switch to VB.Net because it is an OOP(Object Oriented Programming) Language. VB6 is not considered as OOP language because it lacks inheritance. Another thing if you learn VB.Net it would not be hard to switch to other languages within the Visual Studio.Net package. Compared to other languages VB6 may not be considered that flexible and stable. I say you make a choice and I hope that you switch to VB.Net soon.

vb.net is for website building and vb6 is for program development.And the coding is different because of the purpose of the software.
