Interest in Scripture history is a very fine thing. Archaeology helps us to get a better understandind of biblical times and culture. So I think it's fine that your'e interested in. But there also exist some idle quests, and the search for the Ark is one of them (as is Noah's Ark also). I hope very much you've found out nothing special. Don't you see that the Ark disappeared because its purpose didn't exist any more? God is very kind in not allowing us to stick to past relics. There isn't any fact from which to draw conclusions about the Ark's destiny. Sorry, but it's just speculations!

come to think of it your right they haven't stuck to that past relic, because it was the mercy seat and it had the Torah which was a lamp unto our feet the manna which was the bread of life and the rod of Aaron the power of Yah's might.

I know what Hebrews says but Maybe if you would read Ezekiel 43 and 44 you might see things in a way you might want more answers than traditional classes teaches the people today, Also Isaiah 56, Zechariah 14:17,18 are things coming that are sure. Most denominations are sold in to traditional teachings even as far as doing away with the Old Testament which is all that existed in the time of the Messiah and if anything went against that Book they would have never got anyone to accept them period, anyway check these out and see, because we all got to answer for ourselves and no one can answer for us thanks for the response and return also to these scriptures Shalom
