It's absolutely amazing - new table computer that you can interact with and recognizes objects that you set on it, such as a glass of wine --- it's just crzzy. You gotta watch this cnet video http://news.com.com/1606-2-6186146.html?tag=bubbl_2 Unbelievable!

I don't. I think it may not be launched for a while. And I'm thinking it's going to cost about .... a bazillion. Let's see - that was probably a 22 inch screen + all the technology. Maybe 7000 when it first comes out? I guess if it's in tons of demand, it might be higher than that.

On the news here it said it would run about 10,000. Right now they are mainly targeting the businesses like hotels and stuff.

I like that very much with the touch screen and all. I can imagine all the things that could be put onto that screen to interact with. Shudders! If I could be more comfortable in the living room while watching the news to compute and get things done. Advancements sure can be interesting even if not necessary.

Rarely I guess is anything interesting. :) It looks friggin awesome though. I was just watching the iphone commercial and they actually have the same technology on the phone...hmm....I wonder who copied who. The phone thought doesn't do the whole object recognition thing - that's definitely an original.

Oh, I saw this table on the news a few days ago. It is really awesome. I would not mind having something like that in my living room. I love to display pictures and this would be the perfect way to do that. It reminds me of the desk on the movie The Island.

This is absolutely amazing! Thank you for sharing this information. I already send an email about this to my husband and friends. It's amazing how technology is advancing and the things that can be done. I guess one day we all what we are seeing in science fiction movies will be reality.

fantastic, isn't it? :) I can't wait till restaurants adopt it. Heck, if I had the money, I'd build a "super-lounge" with all those computers. It'd be friggin sweettt
