I know that publishing a book is difficult. I have been working on one for a while. I write a newspaper column on fitness and nutrition and get very positive feedback. My topic is on fat loss for busy women. Very popular topic. I am looking for any advice from people who have published a book. Is there a literary agent you recommend? Were there upfront costs? Anything else I need to know? I would be very appreciative of any advice. Thanks!

I just read your post now. Publishing your book through a publisher is costly, not including so many requirements in their reviews. You can self-publish it just like many writers. With so many choices today, it's easier. After finishing your book, let it be edited, and reviewed. Then register an ISBN. It will be ready for marketing once printed. I'm into fitness and I can review for free!

Don't forget to ask for a copywrite for your books before sending the materials to anybody.
