Most of you know that my daughter just moved back home with her two children following a nasty break up from an abusive relationship...well, yesterday he finally relinquished their personal property that he has been holding for the ransom of her time and attention... I spent most of the day helping to quickly pack and move her and the kid's personal items and furniture....As I awoke this morning and attempted to get out of bed....every muscle and fiber of my body screamed out in rebellion of the thought of even this simple activity.....LOL So I am wondering, my friends....when did I get to be so old??? or do you think that I will recover from this activity and feel better again in a few days??? I am generally in good health, but turned 46 a few months ago....I don't generally feel badly....but several hours later..the only thing that does not feel excruciating pain is my fingers....LOL

I wish your daughter the best of luck with her new job .I know it has't been easy for the poor girl. Have you seen a doctor about your pain? I know it's no fun to be in pain all the time

Thank you, my friend. While most of stuff is so misappropriately packed that she will spend a month trying to figure it all out I am sure...at least she got most of it...and she found a new job and starts it tomorrow...Awwww...life will go on again..... I began the morning with a soak in a hot steaming garden tub of water....then took 800mg. of ibuprofen....I got alittle relief but it was fleeting....I have taken a tylenol #3 for the pain and am beginning to feel somewhat better.. Thank you for your prayer, my friend....

I am feeling better today, my friend.....I must admit to spending several hours in my garden tub letting that hot water work it's magic....LOL Thanks for dropping by....see ya soon...

Hello tinamwhite. I commented on your beautiful picture earlier. You have practically worked your muscles the whole day and its quite natural for you to feel sore and tired. You are not old and certainly don't look your age. I've been active since I was a little bunny. I think I have already did a lot of pushing and pulling everyday that my body was already immune to it. There will be times that I will feel a little sore on my body too. At times like this, I will hop in to my favorite massage center for a nice one hour of relaxing my muscles again.

It's not that your old it's just that some muscles are feeliong over worked. I feel like that alot exspecially if there is stress involved with the activity. And I'm sure you felt some kind of stress I know I would. Epson salt helps with a hot bath and just try to relax. Glad your daughter got her things back.

While we took 2 pickups and a 6 foot trailer, she did not get all of her things back...but she is not worried about the few things that got left behind...it is so hard for a parent to think about her children loosing their possesions because of something that they did....the things that were left behind were mostly her things...and she feels lucky to have been able to recover the kids' things most.... As for me, I have soaked in the tub this morning and felt alittle better for a while....I think that my activities will be somewhat limited for the next few days...as I am feeling pretty rough right now....LOL Thanks for your concern, my friend...I appreciate it so much.

I often wonder the same about myself. It just sort of sneaks up on you and ...bang. You will feel better in a day or so. Muscles that have not been used in a little while have a tendency to "rebel" a bit and leave us with those feelings. This gets more profound as we age. cheers,

I really am very active..between the kids, house, small farm, gardening, canning, hiking, canoeing, fishing and camping we do.....but oh, I think I just over did it some yesterday....LOL The stress of the situation did not help much either...but I also think that you are right about age sneaking up on us...and having to figure out smarter ways to get some things that used to be so easy....still completed.... Thanks, my friend. Hope you are having a good weekend.
