A person was allowed to buy in the run of a day or week ? Do you believe this would help out in making it harder for alcoholics or do you feel that they would always find a way to get what they wanted ? Do you believe that this would help in preventing as many people from drinking ? Do you beleive that this would help in prevent others from becoming an alcoholic . What would you do if you had to have a card punched with the date and time each time you entered a store to buy alcohol so you would only be allowed to buy so much at a time or in the run of a day or week ? Would you be for or against this and why ?

I would be against this. I do not think it would do anything to act as a deterrent, it would just make bootlegging very profitable again. I also believe that would just be a further example of the state having too much involvement and control over people's individual lives and choices. A resounding no from me :) cheers (p.s. I dont even drink yet I still say no)

I don't think that the government should interfere in what adults legally do, even if it is for their own good. Consuming booze is legal in the US for anyone over 21. If they screw it up, it is their problem, but no governement should tell grownups how to live their lives. There is already to much government interference in the lives of citizens.

Lots of dr*gs are illegal, but they still buy and use those. Pot is illegal, but it is still bought and sold. Restrictions tend to make something a little more attractive, or put it in front of our notice. I don't think it would be a deterrent at all.

I think it would be an invasion of privacy. I am really not into letting the gov't have so much control over our lives. I also do not believe it would help matters any - instead I think we will see a high increase in the rate of crime.

I would be against this. I am personally tired of all the restrictions that are placed on things because there are a few people in this country who have to abuse them. I don't see why everything that we have needs to be regulated by the government. Are we going to tell the government that we need to be treated like children and have them regulate everything in our lives?
