oh mel this is opening a can of worms is it not! Bet you don't need anything done - I think you are lovely just as you are! I used to think I would have surgery done if I could afford it but I am not sure if I would take the chance of something going wrong! Having said that I would love to have some liposuction and probably get mye eyes and cheeks lifted but the main thing I would love to have done is cosmetic dentistry cos I have always hated my teeth! Thinking of you mel and hope everything is ok! xxx

Actually, I will be having gastric bypass surgery soon (I hope), and I am hoping to lose a lot of weight which will more than likely result in my having a lot of loose skin. I will definitely be wanting to have cosmetic surgery to get rid of the excess skin and to sort of reshape my body. I will also have my boobs lifted at least. Other than that, the only other cosmetic surgery I have considered is on my lower eyelids. I constantly have bags under my eyes, no matter what products I use, and a lot of it has to do with a family trait on my dad's side of the family. But the thought of someone cutting near my eyes makes me a teensy bit nervous. LOL

Liposuction, I would want everything reduced, but only if I was so rich that the cost was completely irrelevant and I knew it was safe which I'm always unsure about. I had a body before I had my boys and would like to have it back one day but it doesn't really matter, I'm just me, take it or leave it really.

There is a lot of misinformation out there about cosmetic surgery. The media tends to tell us mostly the horror stories, which are few and far between. The percentage of people in the general public who have had cosmetic surgery is higher than most people think. I had some misconceptions. I thought boob augmentation was this dangerous, radical surgery. The first time a friend told me she was going to get it done i was shocked. I now have half a dozen friends who have had it done. No one would guess theirs are not real. Some didn't even get general anesthesia, just a sedative, because the procedure can be quick and simple. They were back to work within a couple days. Surprised me, but I was glad to know it wasn't so bad. Depending on the future of botox, safety and all, I my get that done in a few years. I'm 29 and I have noticable wrinkles. Way too much time in the direct sun with no sunblock. Oops. Sarah Brown www.sarahpersonaltraining.com

I would love to get Como. Surgery, I can't afford it I use make-up to cover the flaws on my face. I have 2 scars and very selfconcious of them. If I had the money I would get it done right away! Have a nice week-end!

Hi mel I dont think I would do that. Im a really big chicken when it comes to pain. Ive had some surgeries in my life and I cant imagine having something like that done. Its really up to the individual I think. And how brave you are.

I was put off liposuction, a number of friends have told me how painful it is, and a few people have had accidents regarding their scars and even the surgery itself, but I recently found out about a new procedure, called SmartLipo, which is virtually pain-free, and uses lasers to change the fat cells in your body into thermal (heat) energy... The result is that you gradually lose the excess weight over a period of two weeks, and is therefore a lot better for your body, too.

Hi mel_87! I would love to undergo cosmetic surgery as long as it is safe for me and that I can very well afford it. I will definitely have liposuction (JUST LIKE YOU) so I can have my figure back. haha... Have a nice day and take care!

I don't believe in plastic surgery. People need to be content with the bodies and faces that God gave them. I think cosmetic surgery is all a way for certain doctors to make money. I don't agree with that at all.
