Do you remember that line from "rhyme of the ancient mariner"? "Water water everywhere and all the boards did shrink, water water everywhere - nor any drop to drink" What kind of water do you drink? Do you drink tap water (provided to you by your municipality or perhaps you have a well?) Do you have a filter system? reverse osmosis or charcoal Or do you drink bottled water? Purified, Spring, Distilled, mineral, flavored? What kind of water do you drink, and why?

Our tap water is more than drinkable, and so I usually fill bottles up and put them in the fridge to chill. It's then handy to just take one out and with me when I go walking. If we're out and about though, I'll either buy bottled water, or a fresh Squeezed Orange Juice from Orange Julius. I do like bottled water more often than not, but when we can get the same stuff from our taps, it kinda makes sense to save money lol.

In our town, we are blessed to have very tastey city water. Even my mo, who is very picky about the water she drinks likes it. :) Our previous home we also had town water, but it tasted like plastic & cholorine. We had an RO system hooked up to it and it helped, but it was still pretty bad. The farm I grew up on was well water. There was so much iron and sulphur in the water, that it was pretty yucky to drink it. (we did, because there wasn't affordable bottled water then.)

I really don't care for water, but I drink bottled water. The tap water where I live has a funny taste to it. That's why since I MUST drink water, I prefer bottled water. I have tried flavored and some of it is okay, I tend to drink regular water.

i drink from the tap (though i probably shouldn't). it's not..too bad..but it does have an odd metallic taste to it. i think it might be something they add-everyone in town says it tastes that way.

I used to have a well, but I still didn't drink the water most of the time. We had a silt problem in our water, so even with the filtration system, I didn't trust drinking it. Most of the time I drink distilled or spring water. Although after I saw that one movie Cabin Fever, I quit drinking spring water for awhile lol!

I don't know about that..but i drink a lot of glasses of water a day. I drink any kind of water--boiled,cold,mineral,bottled,purified,distilled,flavored or etc. as long as it is clean and safe to drink.

I'm a cokeaholic...like my bubbles, so I drink carbonated water. I like the Sam's choice Clear American flavored water. No caffeine, calories or sodium. For my ice, I have a filter water container in the fridge to fill my ice trays with. I never liked the taste of our water.

I drink rain water from my own tanks. Our town water is bore water and the locals tell me it tastes awful...I've never tried it. It dries out my skin and hair and is slippery on my skin when I shower so I'm guessing it's treated with something. A combination of bore water and blisteringly hot sun is really hard on clothing too, so I have covered my clothes line with a big tarp so it's shaded. It means leaving washing on the line a bit longer in winter but that's no problem.

I drink tap water, and even filtered water and also bottled water. One at home, one at office and another at friend's place.

Our water from the tap is supposed to be drinkable, but there's something about orange colored water that just doesn't sit well with me. So, I have a charcoal filter system. Its not as good as the reverse osmosis, but for the cost and ease, I'll go with that and it saves me a bunch instead of paying for bottled water thats not all that better then my own filtered water. When I get a chance, I do like natural spring water, when I get it myself. But sometimes I do buy flavored water to change things up: like lemon, orange or grape.

I drink plain old tap water. I have a plastic jug and keep refilling it. I recently found out that if the bottle's plastic has a marking that is less than 5, they are not meanut to be reused as I have been doing. I am looking for a new, safer jug to use but haven't seen one yet!

you know, that is what I thought too, then someone replied (here on mylot) that I had it all backwards - that the lower numbers are safer and the higher numbers less safe. *shrug* health and safety issues can be so confusing.

it's my first time to hear such beautiful lines, but the water doesn't sound so good like that now. water is actually everywhere, but where is clean water? i used to drink boiled tap water, but now i daren't, because tap water smells awful. when the clothes are dirty, they can be cleaned by water. but if the water is dirty, by what can it be cleaned?
