I like the desktop since im more comfortable with it and its much faster for me. I mostly use my desktop for games since playing games on laptops is a bit harder.

hi friends. i agree that laptop is mobile but for me, a desktop is very much more comfortable as it has a seperate mouse. and on laptop its idfficult to move th mouse and the buttons of laptop are too flat. we can add printer, scanner headphones or speakers or all stuff wewant to desktop.

State of the Art - Laptop
I prefer a laptop because it is mobile and if I have an idea or need to look up something I can get to it right away on a laptop, but if I am in the house I will use my desktop.

I just bought a laptop last month and I find it more convenient because of its mobility. I've always used desktops at work and at school, but I can't bring them anywhere I go, so I have to purchase a laptop for my own convenience. The only downside for me is that laptops are more expensive and are more vulnerable to damage. The best thing you need to purchase with a new laptop is probably to get an extended warranty for 2-3 years since the laptop will surely give up through wear and tear. You can't easily upgrade laptops especially on your own; your warranty can be voided by just simply opening the laptop and not requesting for assistance to an authorized service provider. On the other hand, desktops are more easier to upgrade and to maintain. You can easily upgrade the RAM and change whatever expansion card you have on your CPU without calling technical, only a little supervision is needed. Laptop's spare parts and upgrades are more expensive which is normal, you might need to sell the laptop and upgrade to a new laptop rather than to spend an amount just to upgrade one thirds of it. Well, this is just my two cents...:) It will normally depend on your needs entirely..
