My hubby chose her name. he was so sure that it would be a boy, and wanted to name him after my dad, because he loves him like his own father. so the sonar turned out to show a girl. he was very disapointed about the name. but he thought hard and came up with a beautiful girls name by using my fathers names. everyone says its unique.

sure. its Janri. my fathers names are jan adriaan. its south african afrikaans names and the name he thought of would sound nice in any language. he first thought of using the jan and the dri in adriaan, making jandri, but janri just sounded better to him.i was totally impressed with his choice and we stayed with that one. it was the only name that was on the list. it was chosen with love and i love him even more for that.

When I was in my late teens I started a list of names I liked. I wasn't planning a baby then, but I knew that I was going to have kids when I got older and got married. So when I got pregnant, my husband and I went over the list. We both picked our top 5, and out of the ones that matched we picked a name. We did the same thing with our second one and now this one to come. Except we're having a little more trouble with a boys name lol. I told him if I had a boy he could pick. So what we're with now it that when he comes out, my husband will look at him and go with the name he thinks fits best.

It has been a joint decisions with my hubby. We both agreed on the names of our girls. Now when we have a boy we have the name picked out, or should I say he does and I am just going along with it. I am not a big fan of the name John for the fact it is so common. So I told him I would always call him by first and middle name.

Well we both came up with a few names to decide on and I would say my husband chose it. I chose his middle name.

My son is called Ryan. It was the only normal sort of name that my ex-husband liked. He wanted the name of an animal and his favoutite of these were Fox and Raven. My baby son has been called Leo. My boyfiend and I think he looks like this name. It was a joint decision. Now we have to think of a middle name.

My mom helped me decide on what to name my daughter. Her sperm donor walked out on me when I told him I was pregnant. We names her Caitlyn Sue. My two sons were named by their birth parents before I adopted them. Legally I could have changed their names but I didn't want to confuse them so we left their names as they were except for their last name.

We both chose the name of my son. But my husband likes to take all of the credit because he actually made a list and had the name written on it. I loved the name and had thought of it. When I saw it on his list I had one of those moments where I knew instantly that it would be our son's name.

With my first son Kevin, me and my husband at the time picked his name together. The next child I had with him we were didnt agree. I wanted to name him Tyler and he wanted Ethan. Finally near the end I just got sick of arguing and just agreed to Ethan (i love the name now!). With the next child me and my current hubby couldnt decide. We kept flip flopping names until one of us said Cameron and that was when I was 38 weeks and he was born just a little later, so that's what we used. We both liked it. With Cooper's name we decided that we both liked it. It sounded like a pirate name, lol we were calling him Coop-ARR. LOL. now we don't but it was funny then :) With this child i'm expecting I brought up the name and he agreed, yay!!

I've had my daughter's name since I was 16, and my son's since I was 17. So... those were pretty much taken care of. ALthough I did call my unborn son Haille for the first 7 months, lol. The winkie was a pleasant surprise. Blessed Be
