Are you a foreigner in your own country?

I spent over half of my life in a European country and later got the nationality of that country. I got back to the Philippines and the feeling of being away so long makes you feel almost like a foreigner in your own native country? Anybody had similar experiences and feelings?

No, I never had such experience. I was born and brought up in India. I live in India. But I can understand your feelings.

Well , it is like the experience of people who were born away from the native country of their parents .And when they go to their parents' country;they feel like total Foreigners there. And so do people who have been away from their country for 7-8 or more years .
