Are you still fear of having an injection?

I have no problems with needles. When I had my heart attack the lab was taking blood out of me every 15 minutes or so which means another needle each time. The nurses also put 2 IV's in me and I was getting an extra needle in my belly every day. My husband is like you and hates needles. He actually almost hit the lab tech because he couldn't stand me getting so many needles and he thought the guy was too rough. I just lay there and put my arm out for him. No big deal for me. LOL

hey coolgeth same here,i am also scared of seeing a needle piercing our skin,my whole body gets so stiff that sometimes i have to bear the extra pain... but i have found a remedy for myself...it has worked for me,what i do is that i usually avoid the view of the needle,i.e. i prefer closing my eyes,and doing so i don't even realize if the doctor has injected me..kinda funny, but that is how it goes for me.. u should also give it a try..hope it works for u

yes im still afraid of needles although i have injected to many times when i got operated i still feel scared.

i havent had any fear of injection since young and up to know i been injected many times. when i visit my doctor and he think i might losing vitamins in my body. he injected me in the shoulder or sometimes near in the area of bracial pulse. i sometimes look on it whenever nurse do injected me.You must cope it from that fear because injection is the easiest way for the medicine to go in into our system. so no worry please.love yah

Oh you'll never imagine the agony that I go through every time my schedule for depo povera is up. In case you don't know, the depo povera is an injectable pills that is given to a woman who may want it, every three months. Everytime I go to my ob-gyne, my palms would get sweaty and heart really beats faster because I really am scared of injections but it is just something I need to do.

Well, I also still have this fear of being injected eventhough I haven't been injected for a very long time. I had my recent injection when I was in elementary, so long time ago about 10 years ago already that's why I already forgot the feeling but I am still afraid of it. Tee hee

hi there! :) yes, i am still having a fear of injections and i think i will have this fear for the rest of my life. lolz. ;0 i even shifted from my previous course, which is BS nursing, because i really cant do it. i cant just inject people or put some intravenous needle. i really cant poke people around with needles, and neither can i tolerate myself being poked by needles. lolz. ;0
