OH silly me how embarrassing again

My friend woke with a severe rash covering most of her body.She went to the doctor who told her she needed to see a specalist,he told her the nurse would call her back with the appointment and she needed a biopsy.The nurse phoned back about an hour later asking her if she could get to the doctor in the city in an hour.My friend phoned me to ask if i could go with her as she hated needles and doctors,i agreed to go so had to rush to get ready.my friend arrived beeped the horn and i ran out and jumped in the car.we arrived in the city but had to park 3or4 blocks from his office.We were walking through the busy bussiness area of the city when i looked down and discovered that i was wearing my large pink fluffy slippers.I was so embarrassed but as i was not in the shopping section and we were pushed for timey i had no choice but to continue on the the office in my slippers sit in the doctors then walk back to the car.How embarrassing again

This must have been highly embarassing for you and possibly most people would understand, because we have all done some strange things at times. I too have done some weird things but the worst thing I can remember is wearing odd socks. I had been out with a group of friends and returned home very late. I was still single at the time and the next morning had to explain to my mother how come I had odd socks in my bedroom.
At least it was only my mother and I can laugh about it now. Hard explaining it that morning though, when I was not at all well.
I laugh about it now, just as you probably do when you remember what happened to you rosebug. Pretty dammed embarassing at the time it happens though.
