3pm and I could take a nap, but I need to wake up!!

I am so tired. I keep yawning and am struggling to stay awake. A nap is out of the question. I think I'm heading off for a small caffeine boost in the form of an iced tea. What do you to wake yourself up in the middle of the afternoon?

what i do is i make coffee then i chew chocolate candies.

I'm the same way, about mid-afternoon, here come the yawns, lol. I usually drink a cup of coffee...unless it's a school day, then I have my diet rock star energy beverage to keep me awake.

If I'm at home and have nothing particular that I have to do that day I usually give in to it and go curl up under my covers. :-) I heard a pastor say once that the most spiritual thing a person can do sometimes is to take a nap. And then years ago I saw a painting of a dog with the most pitiful hang dog look. The caption was, whenever I feel like working I just lie down until the feeling goes away. :-)

I drink green tea nonstop, especially when I come home from school. Sometimes, if I'm in an extremely tired mood but I have plenty of work to do, I consume an energy drink; I almost always keep an extra rockstar juiced (guava flavor, yum~!) in my fridge for such occasions.

A tall glass of iced tea with a lot of ice is the best way to wake up, I think. Itis my favorite drink and I love to have it when I am feeling groggy and just need a quick pick me up!
