Where did these come from?

I was reading my discussions and the discussions I've responded to and I noticed that there are ads on each page, especially for matrimonial sites. When did these appear? I haven't seen ads on discussions pages here in mylot before... Is there a change in here that I didn't know about? Do you agree with these ads? I personally find them a little too obvious, I mean, the ads for matrimonial sites should be, in my opinion, a little more discreet. What do you think?
