How would you try to stop Global Warming?

Everyday now the world is getting worser and worser the main thing is Global Warming. Global Warming is caused by Carbon through out the air ( Pollution ) If alot of pollution is in the air the ice caps in antartica will be melted and there will be a flood. These carbon come from fossil fuels that industries need to run there company. What would you do to stop Global Warming or what actions would you take? How would the world be like with out fossil fuels (gas also)?KEEP IN MIND: millions of years would have to pass till all the ice caps melt. If we reduce Global Warming it will be better for the humans that enter this world in later times.
