I love every soundtrack that Hans Zimmer has ever done. He is quite a talent, plus he's German to boot (I love German composers!) The tracks that initially got me interested in his work were "Roll Tide" from "Crimson Tide" and "Navy Seals" from "The Rock." I also loved the music he did for "Black Hawk Down." That is just the beginning of my admiration for Hans Zimmer's work, however. I wish I had the time and the space to elaborate on every soundtrack on his resume, however, I think I have already named some big ones, and I will always buy a movie soundtrack without ever seeing the movie if Zimmer is involved in composing it. When I do see the film, his music always fits right in, at times in a most powerful, mournful, suspenseful, or even exiting way, but it always has some type of emotional draw. This might have to do with Hans' technique of incorporating cultural ties (where applicable) into the overall score. I love that as it just shows how much attention to detail he puts into his work.
