eBay help!

I'm looking into selling my cellphone and never really sold from eBay in the past. I only have one feedback, it's positive so I have 100% (to be honest though, he rated me because I rated him well on my first and only purchase I've made - so it probably shouldn't even count). My phone is used (not quite a year old - bought in July 2006) though in great condition, looks and works like brand new in spite of 2 small scratches. I have a lot of pictures, high quality as well that I could add. And I'm naturally a descriptive person so I'd have no problems describing the phone and those two pesky scratches. I put the phone up in craigslist.org but I just want the best deal. Here's the gist of what I'm offering, as I put in craigslist: "In the box: -Manuals -Battery BL-C5 -Headset (not used) -UK and US Charger -USB Data Cable DKU-2 -Nokia CD -512 MB memory card -1 GB memory card (extra!)" How much do you think I could make on this phone? How much does eBay charge for listing? Can I deny the highest bidder the product if I'm looking for a certain amount of money? How much do you think I can sell my phone for? It was originally bought for $300. Any help is greatly appreciated! =)

First of all you can charge whatever you want for the phone. Ebay charges depend on several things, starting and ending bid, whether you highlight the auction, if you have a buy it now option, and so on. The lower the starting bid the cheaper, you will want to put a reserve bid if you are worried it won't go high enough. The amount your phone will go for really depends on who is interested at the time of the auction, like any other auction. I would suggest you see if that phone is already listed on ebay and check out their prices as a rough idea. I hope this helps.

I'm thinking I'm going to leave eBay as my last resort, since I've been reading and I think there's a lot more fees than in other places. So far I've registered in lesser known sites (craigslight, iOffer, ePier) so we'll see how it goes. Thanks a lot! =)

ebay takes a percentage i forget what that percentahe is (hint- most people add that percentage into their price so that their profit is not lost). As far as price you need to figure out the best amount for you. Good luck :)
