IF you were asked to give your life for your country - would you?

If you are a soldier, one of your duties is to defend your country against all foreign aggressors. What if your country is in war, would you fight for the resistance or seek a haven in a foreign country? Be frank, you are not being watched by "Big" brother here..hehehe

No, I did not avoid your question. I would work for peace without the use of violence. That goes even if my country was invaded by a foreign power. I believe that the spoken or written word is more powerful in the long run than any weapon can be. If someone killed me for speaking my mind so be it. But I would not be a soldier for my country.

as i soldier, i won't accept it. i just can't handle the torture of killing someone. but if i have to give my life for my country, i'd rather be on the medical side where i can give help to the sick people. i prefer to join the red cross team more since it will be helping anyone who gets involve in the war. it is still serving the country but not in a brutal manner.

i can help the soldiers. if you empower the soldiers they can do better than i could. i don't think that fighting is the way to resolve a problem.

If I were a soldier and asking for doing this, I would give my life for my country.
I think as not only one of the citizens but also one soldier, there're more duties and responsibilities we should perform or fulfil, especially during the war time.

I had every intention of joining our military when I was young but not being fit I wasn't able to. I would have fought rather than hide. I love my country and love the freedoms living here guarantees me. I would die to protect these freedoms for all.

I fI had to I would serve proud and with honor. I live in a country where I feel proud and honored to represent. I am not for war or against it. This is a had to question so I would say yes. lucky Ihave the choice right now and I am choosing to stay home and raise my kids, but I thank god everyday for those who choose to serve and protect our country.
