For those of you with step brothers and step sisters, how do you all get along? And if you have step parents do you get along with them? I have a pretty complicated family. I have a half sister on my moms side. Me and my half sister have a 12 year age difference. But we are really close but more in a nurturing type way. I'm almost like a second mother to her. On my dad's side I have a half brother and 2 step sisters. Me and my half brother get along really well. We don't get the chance to talk much but I'm really proud of him. He just joined the airforce and got married last year. To be so young he really seems to have his life together and have great goals set. As far as my step sisters go we have off and on relationships. My younger step sister and I have never really gotten along. We used to fight like crazy as kids. Now that we are adults we just tolerate each other and are civil while we are together but that's about as far as it goes. I'm a little bit closer to my older step sister and we were pretty good buddies growing up. But she can get on my nerves pretty fast if I'm around her too long. She tends to overstep bounderies with me and knows how to push my buttons.

Oh its good to see someones family tree as odd as ours. My husband is step father to my two older children, he has a step mum and step dad. X step father and his son.My mum has a step mum and dad. His step dad has four children. His step mum has 1 daughter. I have a half sister which I dont get on with. My older kids have a step mum and an x step mum and sister. It goes on and on and we mostly other than my half sister all get on well and all still stay in contact. In someways its nice with the extended family along way from the brady bunch but not too bad either.
