The purpose of our life are as follows:
1. To live
2. To learn through education and other's experience
3. To earn through hardwork and honest means
4. To help those needy
5. To be kind and humane because we are humans
6. To love and to marry and to raise the family
7. To live happily with family members and keep loving the life thereafter till the end of one's life.

If one closes eyes and thinks for a while, one gets such thoughts easily. You don't have to read a bible. I am a hindu and I following Hinduism. From age 5 till the end of life, we are being taught about hinduism in all walks of life. I have no time to write otherwise, I could have typed the best on life.

To make this world a beautiful place. We all have been given some role by God and we are required to play those roles, just like the actors do in the movies and in doing so we make this earth an interesting place. Imagine if were not there this earth would have been such boring place.
But the problem is that since God has given us brains which can function without any external help, sometimes people get selfish and they don't understand the purpose of their existence, they then try to go beyond what is expected from them. Some try to interfere with the lives of others, some try to become Gods themselves but they only end up making this world a mess.
