abortion, freedom of choice?

I was in this forum in another site where someone posted that abortion should not be banned because this would give women a freedom of choice in instances like if a woman is abused or doesn't want a baby because the baby will just be a reminder of the abuse. or if the mother is too young to be a mom I was personally mortified and a little disgusted by their comments. I can't bring myself the thought of having a baby aborted just because the mother won't like him or her or because the parents are not ready. What can you say about this?

I am for freedom of choice. I do not think saying you are disgusted with other peoples opinions and choises is a very good way of starting out if you want peoples opinion. It does not promote dialoge at all. I feel it is quite insensitive

I understand that you think it is horrible. I understand that there are many points against abortion. I just thought it was not so nice to say you were disgusted with other peoples opinion at the start of a discussion, that's all. I may have gotten carried a way a bit too, when I responded to your post. I am sorry if I hurt your feelings. I hope you have a good weekend.

I am sorry I guess I got carried away with the thought of having babies killed or aborted. Will you not feel the same if you have a child of your own and you get to imagine your child suffering such cruelties?

Let the mother decided whether she wants cute Baby killed by her hand, whatever the reasons.I would like to challenge them, they are killing innocent victims, can they produce one child on their own.

Yes, that is good but isn't it our social responsibility to prevent the mother from committing such a cruel act on her child?

If she understands and counsel her to that level I would appreciate that society.
