Are you still afraid of the Dark?

When I was a kid I grew accustomed to ghosts and spirits roaming around my house or anywhere near me being sensitive to those things and all. But sometimes they catch me of guard, this makes me afraid of the dark sometimes eventhough I knew its something Im used to I just hate the Idea that I'll bump into something I havent seen before :)

I am not at all afraid of dark, why I should be ? because no one can see me in the dark and I can do whatever I want more freely?

I'm not really scared of the dark, but sometimes I get a little bit nervous if I've just walked from a bright room into a fully dark room. Just the sensation of not seeing your surroundings until your eyes adjust and not knowing what's in there with you creeps me out a little. Nowadays I blame it on my imagination, but I too grew up with ghosts in my parents and grandparents houses. I can sense when something ghostly is near me and so whenever I feel it now in my own apartment I do know that deep down my gut feeling is right and that's why I get a little nervous.

I am almost blind. That's not to say I live in the "dark," I can perceive light just fine, and I see some details, but I don't see a lot of details. People fear the dark because they can't see where they are going or what they are doing. Since I can't see clearly even in broad daylight, why should I be afraid of the dark? Now SILENCE scares me, because a sudden sound will totally break that silence, and my hearing is extremely sensitive.

ah, since i dont have my 3rd eye open, im not afraid of the dark at all. was just wondering, since you can see ghosts, do you have the ability of telling the future as well? i noticed that some people have that ability, plus can see ghosts and other creepy things.

I fell the same way as you do. I am scared of these supernatural beings. Thus when I was alone, I can not fall asleep at night. I always want somebody to be my company. It's ok if we do not sleep in the same room, but at least I know somebody is in the same house with me.
I am not sure whether I am afraid of dark. My parents said I don't because I used to go to school when the sky was still dark. However, some of my friends said I still am.
