oh dear, that's not true.. just trust Him and he'll give you your wish... prayer is our mediation to God.. i know he hears your prayer... i'll pray for you...

It depends. I don't pray if it's just me. And I don't pray if I'm out eating with my friends because they're not religious (though I am) and probably would tell me off if I ever tried to ask blessing on our meals. Lol. I do wish they were different in that regard. We do pray when eating together at home and when I'm out eating with my church friends. I love it, I think it's a great way to show God how grateful we are for our daily bread and for always providing.

praying before and after meal is a matter of habit and and enforced tradition of the catholics. Unfortunately we were not raised like that. However, I see nothing wrong with praying for meal. Its a way of showing how you thank Him for the graces that you receive. In my case, I talked to Him before I sleep. And when I talked to him, the essence of prayer is all there, Thanking Him, Asking forgiveness from Him, and wishing He will continuously guide me and protect me and all my loves ones in the coming days.

It doesn't matter how you pray ,neither pray in mind or verbaly .The most important is how much sincere your tankful to the god. To be honest with you i don't practice this ritual but i always thankful to god for evrything in my life in my mind. Sometimes i stay quite and think about god and focus my prayer to the world peace and for the poor and sick people out there. God bless to every body.

Prayers in true sense is, the way we communicate with god. It can be done at any time and at any moment,it does not uphold any specifications. Only man of modern times has started dictating procedures for prayers. So true prayers, is one which focuses our body, mind , soul, for the upliftment and betterment of others. So, I always pray for others, hoping that someone will pray for my cause and wishes. God bless you, Bujoyseth.

that would be okay. just don't forget to thank Him for the blessings you're receiving everyday.. it's not quite necessary to pray before and after meals, the important thing there is that, you don't forget to be thankful to Him.. you can say thank you anytime, not only on mealtime...

oh yes we do. From the youngest child who can start praying to the oldest one who taught the prayer in the first place. We say grace mostly before eating. And if the old ones forget the little ones reminds us. ^_^
