Has anyone been to Australia yet?

My dream vacation is to go to Australia. I don't really know exactly where in Australia I would like to visit. I do know I want to go the the Great Barrier Reef. Where have you visited and what did you do on your vacation? What do you recommend when I finally take my dream vacation?

Sydney first, of cause Canberra, blue mountain and the surroundings,then fly to,or driving up to if you prefer, Brisbane of Queensland, toooooo many wonderful resorts to visit at one time like Great Barrier, Cairns etc. but worth going further north up to Cape York-- a must-see tranquility.Then two way to Perth in Western Australia either by straight flight to or Ayers Rock in the outback of Aussie first then flight from Alice Springs to Perth. stay there for a while for a lovely seeing around north and south regions down there and most importantly drive(about 1700km) (I have done this way) all the way up to Melbourne, Victory. And the last, back home from Melbourne Via Hawaii
