I was so tired!

During my first three months of pregnancy, I did nothing but sleep. I'd go to sleep for eight hours, wake up and eat a meal, then go back to sleep. Has anyone else experienced that pregnancy symptom, too? I've heard that some other women experience this too, but it wasn't one of my favorite pregnancy symptoms. I'm usually a very active person, so I found the tiredness and constant sleeping to be a real drawback. Is there a way to feel more energetic and less tired during early pregnancy? I'd like to be more prepared next time.

i wasnt like that so much with my first, but i sure was with my second! i had a very very busy three year old when i was pregnant with my second daughter and remember complaining to the dr all the time...of course it was because my daughter was so busy!...i was fortunate tho, she still napped in the afternoon and it was all i could do to drag myself into bed for a time as well...but we survived and my youngest is 10 and my busy 3 year old is now 14!
