Do you care for the nature and life on earth? If yes then ban CFC, and plant trees....The alarming rate of global warming is gonna drown our ports and beach cities within a few decades...the icebergs in the poles will all melt and water level will increase by 4m within 2015. so be careful.

First off, global warming has been an issue for thousands of years. Probably more alarming is the fact that we're actually on the endside of the warming trend and are going to enter the global cooling period soon. And even if all the icebergs on earth melted, what you fail to take into account is the fact that water is the only liquid that expands when it FREEZES; meaning, once it thaws, it will actually displace less water than when it was frozen, meaning lower water levels. This of course does not include land-locked ice. It's great if you want to plant trees, especially if you're logging. But if you want to really do something, try cleaning up our water supply. Something as simple as using a trash can would save untold lives, both animal and human. Dispose of toxins properly, go through a carwash instead of washing your car in your driveway (the soapy water goes directly to the sewer to our water supply, rather that through a filter). There are so many "little" things we could do. Blessed Be

In 1992 some of the world's scientists published a warning to humanity about the devastation that humans inflict on the environment. At last, maybe, politicians and the world population is taking notice. Here is the link to the publication if you're interested. http://www.ucsusa.org/ucs/about/1992-world-scientists-warning-to-humanity.html
