I think that the best way to spend 100 dollars is to loan it out as a micro-loan.
The website, kiva.org, provides small loans to third-world countries. Usually they only ask for maybe $20. In their country, 20 bucks buys a lot!
It's a small price to pay to help someone live out their dreams of being a farmer, or salesman, or health worker.
