Who Is a great fan of this movie-please comment in. I like the old episodes where Harrison Ford is in the main lead(the new one is rather boring). Anyone agreed with me can drop a comment on this.Thanks.

I agree that the first 3 from the seventies have something and are really good, but they are classics, they created a new style of cinema. I feel that the new 3 need a few years on them. I once tried in a weekend to see all 6 and they made more sense that way. The problem with the new ones is that though the stories are not that different and there are things that have changed, mostly special effects, many stayed the same.

I'm a big fan of the original trilogy, I love Harrison Ford! The acting and stories are really good and some of the one liners are still funny, even after watching the movies countless of times. I really don't like the new trilogy. Acting is wooden and the scripts were dreadful. I had the misfortune of seeing the last two in the cinema. I was dragged to the second one by my friend and I went willingly to the last one simply because it was the last movie and it completed the story, but I didn't like it much anyway!

My uncle took me to see Star Wars when I was 3. Han Solo was my first love. Most girls have their dads as their first love. Not me. Chewbacca is my favorite character. I still have the Empire Srikes Back on LP. I love Episodes 4, 5, & 6. The new ones are lame, lame, lame. My thing is that the newest ones look more tech than the originals. I like the old grainy look to the originals. Boba Fett is my favorite bad guy. Hammerhead is #2. Funny thing- I had the 'Hammerhead' action figure and the only time you see him in the movie is when Luke and Ben go into the bar looking for a pilot. I think the movies should have went forward instead of backwards, and the shouldn't have waited two and a half decades to give us the missing episodes. I could go on, but it's 'Field Day' at my girls' school. So I gotta go take pictures!!!

I was only 2 years old when Star Wars (episode 4) came out, but my parents took me to see it in the theater anyway. I grew up watching the old trilogy, and I love every single one. Of course, when the new trilogy came out, I had to see all of those as well, but they didn't entertain me as well as the original trilogy had. Some may call it nostalgia, but I can't get enough of the original trilogy, in the original theatrical versions! :)

I LOVE the original trilogy. Episodes 1-3 are entertaining, but I don't like them nearly as much.
