How do I change the background in my profile?

I've seen several profiles with different backgrounds and I'd like to change mine too but don't know how. Can I use a MySpace layout or does it have to specifically be for MyLot? Does someone know where I can get layouts/backgrounds that will work on here and how I can put them in my profile?
