Have you ever felt sad and lonely as a teacher just because you don't see your students anymore because of a certain decision that you had to make and retire from being a teacher?! That is what i feel now, I got attached to my students so much that right now, I spend at least 1/4 of my time thinking of what they are up to.. are they doing good without me beside them.. etc.. Is this normal?!

im sure they will be really glad if you come back. Why don't you visit them at school sometimes so you will get updated of what is happening with their lives. Im sure you are very nice to them, and i think you are one of a kind. I hope there are many teachers like you that are still thinking and cherishing their students.

i am deeply touched by your words, i think you are a very good teacher and always think of your students. but if they are gone, they will never get back, you have to know the truth.

Dont be like that. I meant dont feel sad about not seeing your student anymore. Good thing comes and goes. so does good times you were having with your students. Just believe that there will be good things to do while you retire now. Maybe you can teach part time, or even better give free teaching. Or you can pursue new good hobby, like writing how to be a good teacher. Writing in a blog maybe, you can write about teaching here in mylot too. Or you want to pursue a completely new hobby, you know better. I am in teaching too but I am young and still doing it, so I kind of understand how it feel after stop teaching. Welcome to MyLot, feel free to read tips to excel in MyLot in www.money20.blogspot.com ! Good luck!
