I have been having uneasy feelings because nmy son is turning 13 in November. He's always been a good boy, I hope he continues to be like that even through teenage years.. thinking of all the pressures that teenagers get..

Yes, it is scary to think about having a teenager. All of a sudden they seem so grown up. They do have lots of peer pressure now, but if he has been good up till now, I'm sure he will do just fine. The only suggestions I have is to know his friends parents and be sure he knows he can talk to you about everything and anything.

:-) Just tell your boy there if he ever acts up you will send him to boot camp. lol I'm sure he will be a good kid though, so don't worry yourself too much

You know him better, and you know how you raised him well as best as you can. He should be fine with all the values and lessons you equipped him with to face the challenges of his coming teenage years and even beyond. Although we cannot protect our children from the cruelties of the world, we feel at ease knowing that we have prepared them well to face the world. Cheers! :)

There are alot of peer pressure on teens these days. As long as you have instilled the your values in your child, he will be fine. Keep the conversations going with him. My son that is now 15 gave me greif when he was 8, but during his teen years he has been wonderful~ so far. My 13 yr old son is the same. We discuss different pressures that he might come across and let him know that he can always come to us and tell us what is going on. So far I feel like we have been lucky with the teen years.

I hope you and your family most expecially your son have a blissfull future.
