after retirement from one dayer LARA should take over the charge of westIndian coach responsibility.He could contribute his skills in tests and thoughts in one dayer.players would be happy and wouild get the inspiration from him

Cheers angshu! U are rite and I too have very similar thought on this. I think Lara should seriously be a coach and help the up-coming players by sharing his excellence to them...

I think Lara should definitely consider coaching but the "politics" and "bureacracy" surrounding West Indies cricket currently is not favorable for him right now. I think he would probably be frustrated in his efforts, and right now perhaps he doesn't need to be battling with anyone. I think he should enjoy life and enjoy spending time with his daughter Sydney for a while before he considers any such position and the climate of WI cricket must change for the better before Lara should attempt to apply his remarkable knowledge and skills or it might be in vain.
