Has Customer Serice Gone To Pot?

Even if you do manage to find a sales rep in a department store, he'll either not know where something is and not help, or be rude, it seems. And now they expect you to scan your own items, and stand there and argue with a machine that never seems to work properly. Even calling to make a doctor's appointment can be a lousy experience. I'm so tired of this, I could sream.
