Testing time....

While I was on my lunch break at work (at my regular insurance day job) I ran over to the supply store to pick up the new belts and supplies we need for our children's belt test tomorrow. To clarify, I study Tae Kwon Do Moo Duk Kwan and we just moved to a new school within the past month. We're excited about the first test in the new school, and nervous at the same time. Everyone has had to make alot of adjustments, from a new location to a new type of floor. You name it and it's changed. I'm excited, though. Some of the kids looked really good this week while practicing for the test (we gave them extra time on the floor to come and practice) and the ones who didn't look as good were still trying their hearts out. Effort is a HUGE part and I know everyone will do well tomorrow. Now, all I have to do is make sure the certificates, belts and floor are ready! Have to get the table set up for the Black Belt Board. This is my first time running the "behind-the-scenes" work of a test. At the old school, I was just a student. At the new school, I do much more....! So exciting! Happy weekend to all!
