He threw the dog out of the bus window!

There was this little dog around town, and we call her Roxie. I wasn't going to keep her! I didn't feel like we needed that responsibility with everything we've got going on. But, I melted and started feeding her.
This morning, I bought her some dog food, and had been looking for her all day. This afternoon, a little boy came over and said the puppy got on the summer school bus with him, and the bus driver told him to throw her out of the window.
The little boy refused, but another little boy didn't. And he threw her out of the moving bus's window! They said she was really bloody and obviously hurt. I'm thinking about calling the school tomorrow. But, I'm not sure if I can trust this little boy's story or not. =/ I'm torn on what to do.

I would call the school and get the bus drivers story and if you know any other kids on the bus, maybe ask them also. That would be disturbing for the kids to see. There was no reason the bus driver could not have stopped and let the puppy off.

I find it hard to believe that anyone would do that to a puppy or that the driver would even suggest such a thing. I'd phone the school and the local animal protection league and have them look for the dog. I'm amazed the poor little thing wasn't killed immediately, but she must be hurt so she needs to be found fast. You could also consider calling the police if the story turns out to be true as this is animal cruelty and the driver could - hopefully - get into serious trouble.
What a horrible story. Part of me hopes it really isn't true, but human beings can do the most awful things to animals.

That is terrible! Why would they even do that? It's just a helpless puppy. Did you have the puppy check at the vet if it has any serious injury? It still has a frail body and must be very hurt. I hope those boys realize what they've done to an innocent puppy. I hope your puppy will be ok soon.
