life in Alberta

Any one from Alberta here? I would like to know how it is in Alberta, if you actually live there. I heard there's plenty of good paying jobs there and that we don't pay as much tax as in Quebec. Thanks for your reply.

There are plenty of good paying jobs here, but finding a place to live with affordable rent is rare. A one bedroom apartment could cost you $1000. a month and that might not include utilities. Sharing rent seems to be the better way to go. Take care JulieSkyRock.

That's what I was told, that the appartments where very expensive.

I have a friend there who worked and lived in Alberta. The way i see it you're right, good jobs are plenty. My friend is a Manager in catering services, in fact they're always looking for employees since they have a another branch. He is rich now...
