What's wrong with politics?

I hate politics! We're forced to vote between 20 different piles of crap that we only somewhat agree on some of their issues. And nowadays the nominees are so "carefree" about their opinions that we don't even know what they believe until they take office and start bombing other countries. They want to seem to appeal to everyone! What would happen if we let the people actually control the government and have a say in what happens??

That's the beauty of politics. It's BS how politicians talk in circles and ACT like they actually have a valid opinion of their own. The truth is, our government has some serious problems. The politicians follow whatever the lobbyists TELL their party they are supposed to do, and that't that. Our government is not by the people for the people as it is supposed to be, it's all a money racket. The people with money get their laws passed and do as they please, and that's the way our government is set to run. It's the contradiction in capitalism at it's finest!

The problem with politics is not the democratic process, it is the fact that money is too heavily involved in it. Remove the money, remove alot of the problems.

Good points! I wonder how different society would be if we did remove the money from the government. There would definitely be a new face to the politicians that run for office!
