I am glad you are okay marcia. But yes, you still need a follow up appointment. I am glad you got medical attention for this. I am so proud of you because I think you hate doctors just as much as I do. It could be nothing but it could be a warning sign that something is brewing. Its always a good idea to get things like that checked out. Enjoy your cookout and remember to be easy on the salt.lol.

Well it's great they didn't find anything. I caregive for my elderly father in my home. The problem I am referring to now is swollen feet and or ankles. Thats a sign of a possible case of DHD or Denegerative Heart Disease. Any swelling there is a sign of this possibly. Also any weight gain of 3 lbs or more a day can be a sign of DGH. Just wanted to let you know this as I hadn't till dads fewet and ankles got huge then took him to the ER and thats what they found. Glad it wasn't that for you. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

hi marciascott i hope u are fine know. i can understand what u are going throw. i myself have cramps while i am sleeping and it is very painful. u didn't have that i know but it is also related to leg. take care.

Oh my I hope that everything will be okay, I mean I know you are okay, but it could be some thing when you go back. I hope they did some other tests. I went in one time all swollen up, all over my body. Even my eyes were swollen. I hurt so bad in ALL my joints that I could not get out of bed! My best friend had to come over and get me out of bed to take me to the hospital. They did all the tests and couldn't find anything. My daughter had a disease called 5th's disease, and adults don't usually get it. But of course I did! He said if I did not feel better in a week to go back to my doctor. He also mentioned the words lupus, and fibromylalgia, That made me worried! But it seems that I just had the 5th's disease and the swelling was from that. To a kid it is not as bad as chicken pox, but for me,, it was terribly painful. Maybe it is just something that will go away and be nothing, I HOPE so!! Sending you a big hug to feel better! Happy to note that you are alright.My mom always says that she has swelling in feet and burning sensation.Whenever we took her to doctor nothing found and its simply due to improper blood circulation. take care...

i am glad that you're doing well now. perhaps you must be cautious on the foods that you take. don't eat too much of liver, beans, spices, rich and creamy sauces such as gravy and ice cream, poultry, sardines, scallops, anchovies and other shellfoods, sweet breads, coffee, and red meat because they are rich in uric acid or purines. you might have gout. as what i told you earlier in one your discussions that i am concerned of your health when you had to challenge anybody of staying here in mylot for 24/7. This happens sometimes when we sit too long...I sure am glad it wasn't anything serious. Did the doctor check your blood sugar? That too is a sign of type 2 diabetes. Ask for thr diabetic test when you go back for your follow-up. Have fun at the cook out.
