Soy Ice Cream

Have you tried soy ice cream before?
I have and I think it's ok. I still prefer regular ice cream with all the full cream dairy milk. Soy ice cream somehow isn't as rich nor as creamy as its dairy milk counterpart.
What do you think of soy ice cream? Did you like it? Why or why not? Please share your stories. Thanks.

Is there really a soy ice cream? This is the first time I've heard of this. I guess this might be a healthier alternative for the dairy ice cream but it can also have other disadvantages. Do you think this is less fattening? If it is, this could be good news for people who are weight conscious.

Yup. I think it's supposed to be a healthy alternative and is less fattening.

We don't have a ice cream maker though. I found a recipe that the kids love to make. I don't remember exactly how or what all goes in it though. Recipe is somewhere in my recipe drawer. But the kids get to shake the gallon size Zip lock bags or put it into a coffee can to make it.
