What if you won the lottery?

We all dream about this. What would you do with the winnings? Would you help people out, would you donate it, use it all yourself, invest?

Well, for one thing, I probably wouldn't have to do MyLot anymore! LOL. I would just do it for fun, to talk to you guys! Anywho, I would not tell ANYONE that I won. I would have my attorney (first, I would have to get one! We're so poor we've never had an attorney!) tell the lottery that we wanted to remain anonymous. Then I would have my attorney go around to all my friends and relatives and tell them they were getting X amount of dollars from an anonymous source (remember the show "The Millionaire" that was on back in the fifties?! John Beresford Tipton! When I was a little girl I wanted that guy to knock on our front door SOOO BAD!). I would give to the church, of course. And give away the most part to scholarships, people that I read about in the newspapers that have sicknesses that I could help, etc. But it would all be anonymous.

well there would be the typical start offs, buy a house, car, take a vacation, depending on the amount pay off my parents and sisters house. buy my other sister a house. after that, there are investments to make (kids gotta go to college, ya know). i wouldn't mind buying a property that can be split into units and used to help single parents get back on their feet. and of course, starting a business.

Assuming I won really a lot of money, I think I'd do a little of all of the above. I'd pay off all my debt, buy a condo, and quit my job :-). I'd also help my family out financially, and give some away to various causes and charities. I would save and invest some for a rainy day.

uhm, I'd donate some in the church and public schools. Then I'll give some to my family. I'll start a business as well.

I love thinking about this! :) I would first pay off all my debt and live at least one month with absolutely no payments for anything! That would be absolutely a fabulous feeling! Then I would pay off the bils for my parents and in laws. I don't think I would quit my job, but maybe go part time and do more volunteer work. I've always wanted to do more volunteer stuff, but haven't had the time because of work committments.

I would buy my mom's house, my dad's house and a house for myself and then put the rest away for a rainy day!
