Bullying in primary schools

I've noticed much more bullying and much more cruelty in the bullying in primary schools nowadays, far more than I remembered when I was in primary school (the 90s). Was I just lucky or is it a trend that kids are meaner now? What do people think? And what are people doing to help the victims?

Unfortunately bullying has become an epidemic amongst our youth and at any age. There does need to be something done and it starts in the childs home with parenting. Most people believe it starts at school, but upbringing and pressures of home life can have quite a bit to do with it.

Depending on where you are, I think bullying has always been an issue, hopefully the school administrators are being mindful and keeping an eye out.
