I like coffee, can't go without for a day. I also like chocolate and have found that drinking your coffee while eating anything and I mean anything with chocolate in it can be addictive. My usual combination is coffee and chocolate cake. It's a good mood booster at least for me. It's my "I'm depressed so I'll eat cake and have coffee with it...now I feel better" food. And while I'm writing this I'm eating cookies dunked in you guest...coffee!!! How about you, do you also like your coffee matched with anything with chocolate in it?

You know, I don't drink a lot of black coffee to begin with, but I do remember while I used to work with Starbucks that we were always taught that a lot of coffees are pairable with different foods. Chocolate goes very well with some of those coffees. We've actually paired things like fruit or pastries with coffee; one time, we even matched a coffee with orange juice, and it was also very good. I can understand how you found that chocolate works with your coffee.

Give my my Mocha! Nothing goes better with that exotic combination of coffee and cocoa beans than FUDGE! Now to get the utmost enjoyment out of this delectable combination you must take the time to plan ahead. First, a trip to the fudge shop is in order. You'll need to budget some time for this excursion because the selections one you get there will be rather overwhelming. You don't want to disappoint yourself when you find you can't make it back with a bit of everything so select for yourself a couple of extra slabs to consume on the way home;) Raspberry fudge goes extremely well with a cup of piping hot Mocha but so does walnut maple, orange ripple, double Dutch chocolate...yummm...I think I know what I'll be doing tomorrow!

Here's to another coffee lover. I know what you mean. Going to startbucks for me is like asking a kid to go to the candy shop........yummy....too bad I seldom has chance to go since there are no starbucks where I live but I still get my coffee fix using the ol' coffee maker and a little bit of experimentation here and there. Currently I'm limiting myself to brewed coffee with sugar and cream. The xtra dallop of whipped cream and chocolate syrup I reserve for those time when I'm too depress to care if their gointo my hips or not....lol.

Oh, that sounds really tasty. My coffee ispretty terrible. I use instant with no sgar or milk and half te time it is cold by the time I drink it. My husband is more like you. He loves coffee and he loves chocolate, so when he makes himself a coffee it is more milk than water, and he adds instant cocoa to it as well.

I am a coffee drinker but to date I haven't yet matched coffee with chocolate. Anyway since you have given me an idea, I think I'll pass by a bakery right this very afternoon and buy a chocolate cake. I'll inform you tomorrow if everything comes out right.

I enjoy my coffee in the mornings. Though I don't have it every single morning. Usually I have it just about four times a week or so. I use hot cocoa mix and flavored creamer in my coffee. I can not drink it any other way now. I like it black!, no sugar or milk, my stomach doesn't like it at times but i like it black anyways.
