Do you usually changed your toothbrush every 6 momths?

I used to changed our toothbrush and rather used new one evey 6 moths, my husband keep on asking me about that why should? I especially of the toothbrush still look good.... I used to do that cause thats one of the advice from my dentist. Is everyone do that too?

Thank you friends for the wonderful response and now I should need to take that advice too 6 months would be too long so i keep that in mined now thank you very much!

I change mine every three months. My dentist told me there's a lot of bacterial growth in the bristles, so that's often he's recommended I change the toothbrushes - once at each visit an then one more time in between visits.

according to some dentists, we'd better change our toothbrush every two months. perhaps six months is too long.

Hi there, The rule with tooth brush change in our house is every 1-2 months. Our tooth brushes hold bacteria, so its a good idea to get into the habit of buying a new brush every 1-2 months, more so if they look tattered and torn...

Once in three months i feel that one has to change the tooth brush, which i do. Six months is pretty too long, i think.
